The Living Freedom Course Monday nights 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm Yoga, Meditation and Living Freely Course. This 6 week series builds on the principles that allow us to be true to our self. Each night begins with relaxing Yoga to open up the body and mind. Then we sit in a circle and explore the principles of living freely. These include:

  1. Needs; Identifying our personal needs and learning to ask for support. An example of a need is to feel validated.
  2. Understanding how to feel what we feel without making it into a story that is good or bad. This allows us to develop a healthy language about our feelings and naming them.
  3. Emotional Literacy: Learning how to further identify what we are feeling and speak about it.
  4. Developing a plan to enhance our sense of freedom: a) exercise and/or Yoga b) relationships c) health--sleeping, eating, play time
  5. Facing fear; naming our fears and feeling how to take action
  6. Facing fear; recognizing that our fears are actually gifts that are showing us what we are afraid to build or ask for in our life.
Each night, Celeste will introduce one principle of Living Freedom. Then she will outline how this is possible. After this the group explores the possibilities. This is a very friendly class where each person can share and participate if they are inspired to in a discussion format. You may prefer to listen. Either way, the group discussion creates a safe sanctuary where the principles are explored in a lively manner.
